Explanation:

Since the number cube is rolled twice , the sample space is 36 , that is the total number of possible outcomes is 36.

The success criteria for a sum of 9 appearing are:

3/6 , 4/5 , 5/4 , 6/3

Therefore , the probability of a sum of 9 appearing=
(n(sum of 9))/(Total sample space)

= 4/36

= 1/9

=0.111111...
