The height of a right cylinder is 3 times the radius of the base. The volume of the cylinder is 243 cubic units.

What is the height of the cylinder?

Explanation:

Height of a right cylinder = h

Radius of a right cylinder = r

according to the question,

3r = h or r = h/3

Volume,

πr²h = 243

or, π(h/3)²h=243

or, π×h²×h/9 = 243

or, h³=243×9/π

or, h=³√(243×9/π)

or, h = 8.86 (approximately)
