I think there are so many ways that we can make the world a better place.. We are so deep in ruining our earth though, that it may take a few generations before we can start making it better...
1) Start caring for our earth... It's the only one we have.
2) Stop making judgements of others based on intangibles... like imaginary lines that create our borders.
3) Learn to love those around us despite our differences.
4) Teach our children to read and not watch reality television... & to always question things that go against our consciousness
5) Find a way to end corruption and stop forcing religion in to politics
6)Accept when we are wrong and work to create a more beautiful world
7) Choose an occupation not based on how much money you will make but by how many lives you can touch
8) Distribute wealth more equally yet fairly... (Doctors are making a lot of money... but they are putting the time and effort into it... CEOs on the other hand)
9) This is a never ending list...
I hate to say this because their is so much beauty that comes from religion... but the eradication of religion probably wouldn't hurt either...
Our Morales shouldn't come from a man in the sky, or books written 2000 years ago. Our morals should come from within ourselves... Charity for example. I think it's great that the Catholic Church is so involved in developing nations... Why can't people be that charitable without the fear of hell? Why can't we just want to help people. As of now though, whatever gets it done.
I'm truly scared for our future...
