Maggie and her friends are each able to recruit a certain number of people each year to sample a product. The number of people per year is represented by the function f(t) = 3(2)t. What does the t represent? How many people were recruited in year 6? t represents the year number; 36 people were recruited in year 6. t represents the year number; 192 people were recruited in year 6. t represents the number of people; 192 people were recruited in year 6. t represents the number of people; 36 people were recruited in year 6.

answer: t represents the year number; 36 people were recruited in year 6.

explanation: 3(2)=6 out of all of the answer choices the first and the last one were the only ones that the number of people matched the function. the reason it isn’t the last one is because the number 6 doesn’t represent people. it represents the number of years.

hope this helps:)

Answer:

t represents the year number; 192 people were recruited in year 6.

Explanation:

The function is:

f(t) = 3*(2^t)

where f(t) represents the number of people and t the year

To find how many people were recruited in year 6 we have to replace t = 6 in the function as follows:

f(t) = 3*(2^6) = 192
