Answer:
Pride has more than one definition. To be proud of something means to be satisfied with yourself, taking pleasure in your achievements. The second definition is to have a high opinion on yourself. The thing I find most interesting about these two definitions is that taking pride in your work, in your achievements is a good thing, it helps you work harder to accomplish your goals, but if you have too much pride, you can make mistakes, get overconfident, and fall, essentially. The point is, being proud means two different things to me, looking at my past achievements makes me want to work harder in the future, but it's also a reminder to be humble, so that I don't fall. Academically or otherwise.
