The northerners believed that slavery is morally wrong where as the southerners think that it was not wrong.

Step-by-step explanation:

Most people who were living in the north of the United States of America thought that the problem of slavery was not right and was morally wrong. But the people who lived in the southern part of the State thought it was the duty of the slaves to serve the people who belonged to the community of whites. They thought that even God also intended the black to work for the civilized society which comprised the white people.
