Given:

158 customers on the north side of the town, 378 on west side and 237 on the south side. Total number of newspapers received to deliver is 900.

So, by adding total customers of north, west and south side of the town we get,
158+378+237= 773.

Now, subtracting the total number of customers to total number of newspapers we get
900-773=127 newspapers.

Therefore, the newspapers left over are 127.
