Maxs vet said his puppy will grow to be at most 33 inches tall. The puppy is currently one foot tall. Write an inequality to show how many more inches maxs puppy will grow.

The needed growth of the puppy is represented as h ≥ 21 inches.

Explanation:

The estimated height of the max's puppy = 33 inches tall

The present height of the puppy = 1 ft tall

Let the height which will puppy grow to = h inches

Now 1 feet = 12 inches

⇒The present height of puppy = 12 inches

So, the Required growth of the puppy = Estimated height - Resent height

= 33 inches tall - 12 inches

= 21 inches tall

or, the puppy is yet to grow 21 inches.

Hence the needed growth of the puppy is h ≥ 21 inches to meet the estimated growth mark.
