Given initially the height of the Ricardo's rose bush is 9/12 yard=3/4 yard.

Also given that he cut down 1/9 yard

Now the height of the rose bush is
(3)/(4) -(1)/(9) =(13)/(18)

The height of the bush now is increased by 5/6yards

The height of the bush now =
(5)/(6) +(13)/(18) = (28)/(18)=(14)/(9) = 1(5)/(9)
