Answer:

length of the radius is 5cm

Explanation:

Use formula for Volume of a cylinder to calculate radius;

Volume of a cylinder =
\pi r^(2) h

\pi = 3.14 (given)

Volume = 1,728
cm^(3)

h = 22cm

r ; radius = ?

Plug in the numbers into the formula;

1,728 = 3.14 *
r^(2) *22

1,728 = 69.08
r^(2)

Divide both sides by 69.08 ;

1,728 / 69.08 =
r^(2)

25.014476 =
r^(2)

Find square root of both sides to solve for r;

√(25.014476) =r

r =5.0014

Therefore the approximate length of the radius is 5cm
