you’re doing it wrong, at least that’s what my teacher told me not to do. use the slope formula:

y1 - y2/x1 - x2 (only for the top part, but i guess your way worked that time)

the answer is, however, b. the y intercept is -5, because it crosses over a 0 on the y axis

And when x is 0 it shows that y=-5 which is b (the y-intercept)
