y and x stay the same

m and b are replaced by number values

m stand for the slope: rise/run

this is how much the line is increasing or decreasing

b stands for the y-intercept or where the line crosses the y axis

in this case it is 1. positive 1, so it would be plus 1

y=3/2x+1
