The x-intercept is (-7,0), and the y-intercept is (0,2). The x-axis goes from left to right in ascending order. The y-axis goes from the bottom up, also in ascending order. The x-value is always displayed first, meaning that number will always be the first one in your answer. The x-intercept would be the point where it crosses the x-axis (the line going from left to right in ascending order). The y-intercept would be the point where the line goes across the y-axis (the line going from bottom upwards in ascending order)

Definition of ascending: going upwards (-2, -1, 0, 1, 2, 3.....)

Hope this helps :)
