40° and 50°

Explanation:

Sum the parts of the ratio, 4 + 5 = 9 parts

Complementary angle sum to 90°

Divide 90° by 9 to find the value of one part of the ratio

90 ÷ 9 = 10° ← value of 1 part, thus

4 parts = 4 × 10° = 40°

5 parts = 5 × 10° = 50°

The angles are 40° and 50°
