Fish colors:
Fishes are the aquatic creatures that display a beautiful variety of colors ranging from violet to red. All the fishes of different shapes and sizes display a wide variety of vibrant colors. Most of the colors that we see a fish covered in are determined by genetics. Moreover, a fish's color is also influenced by the diet they consume.
The colouration of a fish is created by three-shading colors which are to a great extent contained inside cells called Chromatophores. The 3 colors are Erythrin (Red), Melanin (Black), and Xanthin (Yellow) every one of which happens in various chromatophores.
It is interesting to note that the fishes kept in artificial conditions like aquariums tend to show different colors as their colors can be influenced by changing their diet or just increasing the color pigment supplementation.
