Explanation:

So, on a linear graph (a line). Find a point that intersects evenly with a coordinate point. Then, count how many points up and over it is until you hit another point on the same line. So, if you counted 9 points up and 5 points over your slope is 9/5. Alternatively, you can solve slope using the algebraic equation- Y=mx+b
