|-10| = |-20| to 10 = 20

Since 10 is not equal to 20, it is undefined

If you meant (-10)x = (-20) Then do this:

-10x = -20

/-10 /-10 Divide by -10 do get x

A negative divided by a negative makes the answer positive.

-20/-10 = 2

x = 2
