Answer:

\boxed{\bf{Circumference} = \bf 9.42 \: {m}}

Explanation:

Given :-

\sf \: Diameter = 3 m

To find :-

\sf \: Approximate \: circumference

Solution :-

To Find the approximate circumference when the diameter is given,Use this formula :-

\boxed{\sf Circumference = π{d}}

Note: d means diameter.

[Another Note: π is multiplied with diameter(d)]

We know that the value of π is,

\boxed{\sf\: \pi = 3.14}

So, put the value of π [3.14] and diameter [3m] :-

As we need to find the circumference in "m", keep 3.14 × 3 in brackets and keep "m"outside the Brackets.

\sf \implies{Circumference} = (3.14 * 3) m

Simplify the RHS.

Multiply 3.14 and 3:-

\sf \implies{Circumference} = 9.42{\;m}

We are done!

Hence, the circumference of the circle is 9.42 m.

I hope this helps!
