The Byzantium was an empire which was also known as the roman empire of the eastern area started when the roman empire extended itself to the east where the ancient Greek colony, Byzantium became the part of this roman empire and thus leading to the start of the Byzantium empire in the period of 330 AD.
Importance of Byzantium:
This empire was very important because it led to the revival of the studies of Rome and Greek. This also was an important factor contributing to renaissance and was an important point of trade between Asia and Europe.
