The civil rights movement in America as described by Martin Luther King Jr. in Letter from Birmingham Jail.

Step-by-step explanation:

Martin Luther King Jr. words down the Civil Rights Movement as the struggle to get hold of what has been given to them by God but taken away by the white people. He describes how the independence struggles in Asian and African countries are marching towards becoming successful and the Civil Rights Movement not even being taken seriously by the white people sitting in the government.

While wording his negative experiences of the struggle that they had put up, he shares how the whites were concerned about the colored people breaking the laws but not bothered about giving them what they deserved as human beings.

He speaks about his belief in one of St. Augustine's quotes which says an unjust law is no law at all and tries to justify the actions of the men that break the laws to get what they deserve. Towards the end of his letter, he speaks about how the evil system of segregation would come to an end once the civil rights are granted to each one who deserves it.
