Answer:

In total there are 369 bilingual people in the school.

Explanation:

Given:

Number of teachers=60

Number of students=1200

Percentage of students who are bilingual=30%

Percentage of teachers who are bilingual=15%

To find:

Number of stuents who are bilingual=?

Number teachers who are bilingual=?

Solution:

Now, we know that,

Total bilingual students and teachers altogether = bilingual students + bilingual teachers

= 30% of 1200 students + 15% of 60 teachers

=
(30)/(100) *1200+ (15)/(100)*60

=
0.3*1200+1.5 *60

=360+9=369

Hence, in total there are 369 bilingual people in the school.
