Explanation: The civilization of Europe was directly affected by how the climate was, as they needed to cope with the cold climatic conditions. They had to develop thick clothing wears, ways of building warmer housing pattern was introduced thereby leading to construction of solid buildings as can be identified in the Roman and Greek Empires.

Ways of moving across the Mediterranean Sea was developed to enable nations to move across the sea to lands in the region of Asia. this led to the construction of large ships. Fishing from the sea was also a major occupation of most early European nations also movement across the sea helped enhance Commerce as goods were taken across Europe to Asia and Africa and vice versa.
