10-7 is 3, -15+ 8 is -7. Making it 3/4 - (-7/6) so you have to find a common denominator. The common D is 12 but you have to multiply the numerator as well as the denominator to make it true. 4*3 and 3*3, = 9/12. 6*2 and -7*2,= -14/12. Then u subtract numerators and denominators. 9- (-14) which is the same as 9 + 14 = 23. And the 12 stays the same. Now you have 23/12 so then you simplify it to 1 11/12. Check your work by adding 12 and 11 to get 23/12.
