Explanation:

Given;

Circumference of the Circle = 23.55


\pi = 3.14

Formula:


\textrm {Circumference of the Circle} = 2\pi r

Substituting the values


23.55= 2* 3.14* r


23.55=7.28r


\therefore r= (23.55)/(7.28)


\therefore r= 3.23489

Now diameter is twice the radius


diameter = 2r


\therefore diameter = 2 * 3.23489

Diameter = 7.5 inches
