She basically invented the idea of the Underground Railroad, and would help slaves get freed and send them there by going back and forth to where they were held and leading them to The Railroad, which was a branch straight into the north. She left because

she wanted to spread hope for others and ensure others safety, not wanted to be subjected to cruelty. She was helped by her brother Moses and two other unidentified men.
