It will take Colt 5 laps and Audrey 2 laps for them to catch up to each other

Explanation:

the LCM(least common multiple) is 20 and 20/10=2. and 30/4=5

Take the LCM and divide it by the time it takes for one lap for each person and you should get the same number and that number is the amount of laps it will take them to catch up.

or...the amount of time before they catch up to each other is going to be your LCM
