Formula we use,

→ P = 2(L + W)

Then the value of L and W is,

→ P = 2(L + W)

→ 58 = 2(x + 5 + x)

→ 2(2x + 5) = 58

→ 4x = 58 - 10

→ x = 48/4

→ [ x = 12 ]

Then the width will be,

→ W = x = 12 in

Hence, the width is 12 in.

Now the length will be,

→ L = x + 5 = 12 + 5 = 17 in

Therefore, the length is 17 in.
