Answer:

1- A democracy is a government run by the people, if we didn’t have citizens there would be no one to vote for things.

2- i’m not sure what to put for that one sorry!

3- Studying American Government as a teen helps you prepare to practice good citizenship because it makes you aware of how our government works and runs, our basic laws of the constitution, and how you can be a good citizen.

I hope this helped with the first and third questions, i’m sorry i don’t know the answer to the second one :/

Answer:

The United States is a representative democracy.

This means that our government is elected by citizens.

Here, citizens vote for their government officials.

These officials represent the citizens’ ideas and concerns in government.

Voting is one way to participate in our democracy.

Citizens can also contact their officials when they want to support or change a law.

Voting in an election and contacting our elected officials are two ways that

Americans can participate in their democracy.
