Answer:

The amount each person spent on snacks is $ 7.5

Explanation:

Given as :

The total money that Chris and his sister have = $ 34

The cost of each ticket = $ 9.50

So, The cost of both of them ticket's = $ 9.50 × 2 = $ 19

So, the left amount together after ticket's purchased = $ 34 - $ 19

I.e The left amount they have = $ 15

let the price each spend on snacks = $ x

∵ The left amount they have is $ 15

and both bought snacks , so they bought snacks of $ 15

∴ each of them spent amount on snacks = x = $
(15)/(2)

i.e x = $7.5

Hence The amount each person spent on snacks is $ 7.5 Answer
