The want of natural resources resulted in the cooperation between the Virginia colonists and the native American in that, their common goal was to seek opportunities. Furthermore, the colonists were not familiar with the land and the food sources so they needed help from the native American to raise food. In return, the Native Americans were allowed to govern themselves. They were also given gifts by the Virginia colonists. However, the colonists overworked the Native Americans and also took their land, This eventually resulted in conflict.
