Kelp forests are formed by thick concentrations of brown seaweed in ocean waters. They are home to a high number of plants and animals, including sea otters. What happened when people hunted large numbers of sea otters as a resource from within the kelp forest?

Answer:

well the otters could hide in the kelp, but if the hunters killed the kelp the otters would have died because they couldn't hide.
