2πr = 50 cm

2 * 22/7 * r = 50

2*22*r = 50*7 = 350

r = 350 / 2 * 22

r = 175/22 cm

Area of the circle = πr²

= 22/7 * (175/22)²

= 22 * 175 *175 / 22 *22 *7

= 175 * 175/22*7 = 25 * 175 /22

= 4375/22

= 198.86 cm²
