A tank can be filled by three pipes separately in 20,30,and 60 minutes respectively. In how many minutes can it be filled by the three pipes acting together

Pipe 1 fills the tank in 20 minutes

Pipe 2 fills the tank in 30 minutes

Pipe 3 fills the tank in 60 minutes

Pipe 1's Efficiency per minute = 1/20

Pipe 2's Efficiency per minute = 1/30

Pipe 3's Efficiency per minute = 1/60

All 3 Pipes' Efficiency working together per minute = 1/20 + 1/30 + 1/60

=(3+2+1)/60 = 1/10

Therefore, All 3 Pipe would fill tank in 10 minutes.
