You are to write a letter from the perspective of a Native American who lives on the reservations of Oklahoma in the 1890s. You are trying to convince the U.S President to help with the plight of your people. They are starving, struggling, and cannot vote in elections.

In your letter, you should include references to at least 5 specific events of how white people have hurt your people. Be as specific as possible. You should also give the president at least 3 specific ways that he could help your people.

Your letter needs to be at least 1 page front and back, not counting signature. You may hand write this letter if you absolutely must. If you choose to type up your letter it should be 2 pages, 12 point font, Times New Roman, double spaced. It should include at a short intro paragraph, 2 body paragraphs, and a brief conclusion.
