Answer:

B) Left them impoverished is the correct answer.

Step-by-step explanation:

he Great Britain had established many colonies in the North America by 1770's. The colonies use to consider them as the citizens of Great Britain. They were dependent on the British government through trade and Governance. After the French and Indian War, Britain wanted to limit the expansion on colonies towards west and the King issued proclamation in 1763 to prohibit the settlements beyond the Appalachian Mountains and those who had already settled on the west were ordered to move towards the east. Quartering act was passed in 1765 which forced the colonialists to pay for the lodging of British soldiers who were stationed in America and after the French and Indian war to raise the money to repay war debts the King levied taxes by passing Stamp Act and Townshend Act. The taxes angered the colonialists and they protested against it arguing that it violated their rights as British citizens. They also boycotted British goods. All these taxes angered the colonialists, some of them dressed like Indians and participated in Boston Tea Party.
