Are shape I and shape Il similar? If so, give the dilation that proves they are similar. If not, explain why the shapes are not similar

Answer: No

Step-by-step explanation: The shapes are not similar. The scale factor of the dilation that maps the lower left point of shape l onto shape ll is 2. However, That scale factor does not map the other point of shape I onto shape ll so, there is not dilation that maps shape l onto shape ll ( this is from edementum sample)

Answer:

They are similar.

Explanation:

They are similar because, the top triangle has one more square to the height as well as the width. If you take one square away from the height and width the top triangle is the same size as the bottom triangle.
