X=-1 y=3 or (-1,3)
To solve this you can use substitution or elimination
In this I’ll use elimination
So,
(-3)2x-3y=-11 —-> -6x+9y=33
(2)3x+4y=9 ——> 6x+8y=18
Then you add the equations
-6x+6x=0 9y+8y=17y 18+33=51
So, 17y=51 divide by 17 and you get y=3
Then you can substitute 3 in one equation for y.
2x-3(3)=-11
2x-9=-11 2x=-2 X=-1
