I can't see the rest, but I'm going to assume that the amount of boxes shown on the side are ten each.

They're split into three separate rows of ten, so I believe that it's saying in a physical and visual way, that 30 is being divided into three parts, which, would in fact, equal ten.

(Multiplying three by ten or ten by three would equal 30)
