Answer:

The stages of ecological succession is as follows:

nudation→migration→ecesis→competition→reaction→stabilization.

Step-by-step explanation:

  • Ecological succession is a natural process by which some locality becomes successively colonized by different groups or communities.

The complete process of succession involves certain steps namely-

  • Nudation- Development of a bare area without any life form.
  • Invasion- Establishment of species in a bare area, this process occurs in three successive stages:

a) Migration, spreading of seed, spores etc.

b) Ecesis ,Establishment of species.

d) Aggregation.

  • Competition and coaction- Interspecific or intraspecific competition for space and nutrition. Individual species affecting each other life form is called coaction.
  • Reaction - It is the modification of environment by organism.
  • Stabilization- Finally the community becomes established for longer duration of time.If not replaced by new community then this community is known as climax community.
