The equation of line that is perpendicular to x=-6 and that passes through the point (-1,-2) is y = -2

Solution:

Given point is (-1, -2)

We have to write the equation of the line perpendicular to x = -6

x = -6 refers to a line which passes through a point -6 on the x- axis and it is parallel to the y- axis

So, According to question we have to find a line Perpendicular to x = -6

The line perpendicular to x = -6 will be parallel to x axis

Along with this question has said that this perpendicular line passes through the point (-1, -2)

(x, y) = (-1, -2)

So , the equation of line will be y = -2
