45 foot long hot dogs will be served if there are a total of 120 dogs served.

Solution:

Given that

Ratio of irregular hot dogs and foot long hot dogs is 5 : 3

Which means when 5 irregular hot dogs are serve, 3 foot long hot dogs are served.

Total number of dogs served = 120

To find : Number of foot long dogs served

\text { Number of foot long dogs served }=(3)/(5+3) * \text { total number of dogs }

\text { Number of foot long dogs served }=(3)/(5+3) * 120=(3)/(8) * 120=45

Hence 45 foot long hot dogs will be served if there are a total of 120 dogs served.
