The store manger paid
\bold{\$ 5125} in all.

SOLUTION:

Given, a store manger bought 7 boxes of books. Each box held 25 books. He then bought 9 boxes of pencils. There were 100 pencils in each box. The manger paid $19 for each book and $2 for each pencil.

We have to find the amount paid

Now,
\text{total payment = payment for books + payment for pencils}

\text { Total payment }=\text { number of books }* \text { cost of each book }+\text { number of pencils }* \text { cost of each pencil }

\text { Total payment }=7 \text { boxes } * 25 \text { books per box }* \$ 19 \text { per book }+9 \text { boxes }* \text { 100 pencils per box }* \$ 2 \text { per pencil }

\text { Total payment }=7 * 25 * 19+9 * 100 * 2

\begin{array}{l}{\text { Total payment }=3325+1800} \\\\ {\text { Total payment }=5125 .}\end{array}
