7. The length of a rectangle is 3 centimeters less than twice its width. The perimeter of the rectangle is 48 cm. What are the dimensions of the rectangle?

a length = 11 cm; width = 7 cm
b length = 15 cm; width = 9 cm
c length = 12 cm; width = 12 cm
d length = 14 cm; width = 10 cm​

The answer is b

The perimeter of a rectangle is 2(l + w) so in this case, it is 2(15 + 9) and that is equal to 48. But so at c and d. So u need to multiply the width by 2 (9*2=18) and then you’ll see that 18-3=15. And therefore, the length is -5 and the width is 9
