A musical group sells headbands at there concert. After one concert , they sold 195 out if 300 white had bands and 300 out if 400 black head bands . A greater percentage of which color head bands we're sold

Total number of White head bands = 300

Number of white bands sold = 195


\textrm{Percentage of white bands sold}  = \frac{\textrm{Total white head bands sold }}{\textrm{Total numberof white bands }}  * 100

=
(195)/(300)  * 100 = 65

or, Percentage of white bands sold = 65%

Total number of Black head bands = 400

Number of Black bands sold = 300


\textrm{Percentage of black bands sold}  = \frac{\textrm{Total black head bands sold }}{\textrm{Total numberof black bands }}  * 100

=
(300)/(400)  * 100 = 75

or, Percentage of Black bands sold = 75%

and , 75% > 65%

Hence, on comparison, we see that The Black head bands are sold in greater percentage then white bands.
