You just received your final exam score from your teacher. At the top of the exam, it says you missed three questions and got 42 out of 45 questions correct, for a score of 88%. You think your teacher may have made an error when calculating your percentage. If your teacher did make a mistake, what was most likely done incorrectly?

Answer: The teacher calculated the percentage of getting 22 out of 25 questions correct.

Explanation:

22 out of 25 = 88%

42 out of 45 = 93.33%

so yes, she made a mistake, and the only thing that equals 88% is C.

Answer:

Yes she made an error.

Explanation:

42/45 = 0.93333

0.93333 × 100 = 93.3333

I'm not sure what she did wrong but maybe she added 3 to the 45 total to get 42/48 = 87.5 which rounds to 88.
