Explanation:

A color photograph taken with a digital camera is converted into a digital format using
4 * 10^(0) bytes per pixel.

So, 1 pixel is converted to
4 * 10^(0) bytes.

Now, the photographs taken with the camera each have
2.2 * 10^(6) pixels.

Therefore, in a photograph there will be
2.2 * 10^(6) * 4 * 10^(0) bytes

=
(2.2 * 4) * 10^(6)

=
8.8 * 10^(6) bytes. (Answer)
