Answer: a. 3+13n

b. About 3 newspapers

Explanation:

a. T=total thickness of newspapers on a skid in inches

T=3+13n

b. 3'=3 ft

1 ft=12 inches

3 ft=3*12 inches

3 ft=36 inches

36=3+13n

13n=33
