What does changing the "a" variable do to the graph of a quadratic function?

Answer: Given the quadratic equation
ax^(2) + bx + c =0

If the value of a is positive, the the graph is a parabola with u - shape, that means minimum point will exist , but if the value of a is negative , then the graph will be a parabola with n - shaped , that is maximum point will exist
