We can solve this problem by square roots

  • x² - 36 = 0

Let us transpose 36 to the other with a change in its sign.

  • or, x² = 36

Now, x² = 36, i.e., square of x is 36. So, we need to find out the value of x by square rooting 36.

  • or, x = √36

6 × 6 = 36, we know that.

  • or, x = √6 × 6

So,

  • or, x = √6²
  • or, x = 6

Answer:
