Answer:

f(x) . g(x)  = 4x^3 -21x^2 +17x -3

Explanation:

Here, the given function are:

f(x) = 4x- 1

g(x) = x^2 -5x +3

Now, (f.g)(x)= f(x) . g(x)

Now, finding the value of f(x) . g(x):

f(x) . g(x)  = ( 4x- 1)(x^2 -5x +3)

=4x(x^2 -5x +3)  -1(x^2 -5x +3) \\ =  4x(x^2)  - 4x(5x) + 4x(3)  -(x^2 -5x +3)\\=4x^3 - 20x^2 + 12x  - x^2 + 5x -3\\= 4x^3 -21x^2 +17x -3

Hence, we get that
f(x) . g(x)  = 4x^3 -21x^2 +17x -3
